Let's keep things simple...

Weddings are complicated enough, so I like to keep things simple. These packages covers everything from a few hours, right the way to a full day of photography with the bells and whistles.

Please click the image below to view the 2024/25 packages. All bookings will include a consultation before the special day so we can get to know each other, have a chinwag and you can tell me what you would like to capture on the day. If you are looking for something else, please ask!

FAQS

Q: What style of photography do you use?

I offer a mix of editorial, documentary and modern portraiture in a relaxed and authentic style.

When it comes to looking for your wedding photographer it can be daunting and confusing trying to work out which “style” of photography you like. My advice is to just look at various photographers and if you like their portfolio, that’s all you need to know. If it talks to you, great. If it doesn’t, there will be someone out there that fits the bill. Look for what is right for you, not the trend.

Q: Do you charge for travel?

The first 50 miles from Edinburgh are included, but I charge 60 pence per mile thereafter.

Q: Do I need to meet my any potential wedding photographers before booking them?

110% yes! But this can be just a virtual Zoom call. You are going to spend all day with them, and it’s a very important day at that, so it’s a good idea to meet and make sure you connect.

Q: Do we have to do cheesy poses?

Not if you don’t want to! In all seriousness, being in front of a lens can be uncomfortable for some people. But it’s my job to make you feel relaxed, and even enjoy it. We can do the portrait/couple shots in 20 minutes on your wedding day – and no cheesy poses are required! Often this can come as a welcome break too, meaning you get to spend a few minutes together as a married couple, taking in the moment and your big day.

Q: How long does it take to get the photos after the wedding?

I will produce some sneak peeks within 2 days of the wedding. These are usually about 20 highlight shots that can be shared with family and friends online.

In peak months, I will deliver the full gallery of photos for a typical 8-hour wedding in 8 weeks. My prices include up to 3 days of editing. But of course, if there’s scope to deliver them quicker. I will endeavour to do so.

Q: How do you process/ edit your images?

I like to keep things as natural looking as possible, with a focus on making your skin tone neutral but with some pushed colours throughout. Most of my work is done in Adobe Lightroom, where white balance and exposure adjustments are made, and I apply my custom preset to create my unique style.

I’m against heavily retouching or airbrushing images – although if you do wake up with a giant spot, I can definitely remove this from all images for you!

Q: How many photos will I receive?

Typically over an 8-hour day you will receive at least 400 images as a minimum.

Q: How will I receive the photos?

The digital photos will be sent by an online gallery. You will have the option to download all high-resolution photos and small web sized images. I suggest you download them asap and save on a separate hard drive to keep safe. The online gallery will stay active for 12 months.

Q: Do I have to tell you if I separately book a videographer or content creator?

Please can you let me know so I can introduce myself beforehand and we can work together as a team on the day.

Q: We are interested but can we meet you before we decide to book?

Yes of course! Just drop me a line and we can arrange a call.

Q: OK, so how do I book?

Great! Once you let me know, I will draw up an agreement so it confirms everything I’ve promised you in your wedding package. I would ask for a small deposit payment upon booking to confirm the date.

The final balance is to be paid just before the wedding, once we’ve finalised the plans.

The booking will include two video consultation sessions, so we can get to know each other and I’ll produce a final event schedule, which will be my guide for the day.
